Suka Suka Makan Party II

Today is the 2nd party organised by me. :) HaHa! It's a success!!! Everyone enjoyed it even the GM was impressed!!!! :)

I started a survey on what food they wanted to have for the party on 01/08/07. The result I got includes: Anything, Whatever, BBQ, Muslim Food (Malay Staff), Vegetatrian food (2x Vegetatrian), Sushi, Something Nice, etc. Based on the results, I tried to source for a cater that can supply this type of food.....

Finally, I ordered a mini buffet for 20 pax (my company only have 24 staffs altogether) with the followings which cost $9.80 per pax:

1. Bryani Rice with Pineapple
2. Thai Style Boneless Chicken
3. Healthy Steam Fish with Nonya Ingredients
4. Stir Fried Peking Cabbage With Red Carrot and Vegetarian Abalone
5. Sambal Prawns
6. Assorted Sushi
7. Crystal Pau
8. Fruits (Water Melon)

Then I added a side order of 50 sticks of Chicken Satay and 50 sticks of Mutton Satay (This represent BBQ food as in the survey, hahahahaha). The total cost is $234. Yesterday, bought 1 carton of "Anything" and 1 carton of "Whatever". (Result of the survey). Hahahaha what a good joke. ;P

As for the vegetarian, they were to get their food from the canteen which costed $15.60 for 2 packets.

I started to prepare for the party at about 10.45am when there is a very heavy down pour. What a bad luck!!!! But luckily, the rain stopped at 11.30am when the cater sent in the food.

We started at 11.55 am and by 12.30pm, almost all the food were finished except the rice.

The next one supposed to be in December but due to Company's Dinner, it will be held next year.
