On the second day, we were supposed to meet at 8am for breakfast, but due to someone's delay, we went for breakfast at the Hotel's Garden around 8.30am. The breakfast was quite a wide spread... and yummy also.
After breakfast, I accompany Auntie Irene and May to the Baking Ware/Supplies Shop again to change a fault item and at the same time, both of them do more shpping there. Margaret and Joanne went to visit the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum while Nicole stayed back in the Hotel to use the Internet Room to surf net and also to wish ds. We joined Nicole after the shopping.
As the time was getting late, we packed our things and checked out from the Hotel soon to the Ta Chi House after that missing one of the place we intended to visit. We had some simple lunch there and mainly to order the Durian Cendol again...
We boarded the bus once we finished our lunch and there was a stop over at Yong Peng and then HOME SWEET HOME!!! :D
After we checked in to the Hotel Puri, located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, which was the former residence of Mr Tan Kim Seng (陈金声) and now leased to be the Hotel for 88 years. There were 3 levels of rooms, Spa, History Room and also an Internet Room (which we used it on the 2nd day to wish ds Happy Birthday).
First station, we went to search for the Baking Ware/Supplies Shop... Finally, we found it at Jalan Temengung (天孟公路 - 三宝井), and the top 2 spenders... May and Auntie Irene brought the most stuffs from the shop.
On the way back, we went to this shop called 三叔公 for a round of Cendol (Gula Melaka and Durian) which was not as good as the ones we had at Ta Chi Nyonya House.
After unloading, we proceed to the "Pasar Malam" over the next street, Jalan Hang Jebat or Jonker Street. Followed by a Chicken Rice dinner which all said is the worst they ever eaten.
