Germany (Part 3) - Fussen : Visit to Schloss Hohenschwangau & Schloss Neuschwanstein

On 14/06/2001, My colleague & I travelled about 3 hrs on the train to Fussen then took a bus to the Ticketing Counter for visiting the Schloss Neuschwanstein (The New Swan Castle). It was built between 1869 - 1886, but was not completed as King Ludwig II passed away. The visit was like must make an appointment. As seen in the ticket: Tournumber:470, Time:1435 hrs.

This is a map of the Castles area; Top Right Hand Corner is Schloss Neuschwanstein and the orange building is Schloss Hohenschwangau

There were 3 ways to go to the Castle at the top of the hill, 1. Bus, 2. Horse Carriage and 3. Walk. We chose to walk as we can see the scenery around. By around 2pm, we were waiting outside the Castle. Photography was not allowed in the Castle.
After the visit to Schloss Neuschwanstein, we walked over Schloss Hohenschwangau, but we were told that there was nothing much to see inside, so we did not buy the tickets to view the inside.

Can you see a bridge in the photo?
