Great Dishes and Snacks for Chinese New Year

Saturday, Margaret on MC. So left with Auntie Irene, Nicole, Mabel and me. Mabel was there to revise how to make Kuih Bangkit. I only joint them after my meeting in the afternoon.

蚝油大虾 was one of the dish for our dinner on Saturday. The prawns were big and yummy. Too bad Margaret missed them. :(

On Sunday, before going over to Auntie Irene's house, I went to shop in the supermarket for ... BUTTER. I was very KIASU, bought many many blocks of butter to standby for making Chinese New Year goodies as the promotion is still on.

We (Auntie Irene, Nicole, Margaret (upon invitation) and me) prepared 3 items and 2 of them (青豆饼 and "牛" 转乾坤好运来) will be taught on LOVE 972FM during the 粉樱's 厨房笔记 segment. Wanna learn how to prepare them? SO STAY TUNED!!! :)

thanks for buying the butter for us...still have more ingredients to get...

The big prawns looked inviting, however, I think with my condition on Saturday, I also wouldn't dare to touch it, so it's better for me to stay away from all these sinful yummy food for a day..hahaha...

the green pea cookies were indeed very nice, the unpresented almond cookies not that bad too. My family love them all.
