May day 2008 - TWO BUFFETS & TWO SECURITY SCREENING in one day - Part 1

Last night, got a phone call from "L" (he asked e not put his name) saying that he had extra ticket for the May Day Rally and asked me to meet him at 8.00am today.

I arrived at Downtown East at 8.00am sharp. He was not there. I waited and call his handphone but no respond. Finally, at 9.00am, he called me and told me he just woke up and to give him 35 minutes to reach here. Then he SMS for another 20 minutes.

At last, he arrived with "T", late for a total of 2 hours and 6 minutes.

It was about 10.15am when we enter and the Rally was to be started in 15 minutes time.


Security screening before entering

We started with a cheer when the VIP & GOH arrived. Then speech by Mr Lim Swee Say, followed by PM Lee Hsien Loong and then the Resolution for May Day 2008. We ended the session with the NTUC song....Solidarity Forever at 12.30pm.

Lunch was provided and we had a wide spread of buffet dishes by Oh's Farm.

I tried every dishes, take photos and left to meet another friend at about 1.30pm....
