An Afternoon at Auntie Irene's House

Called Auntie Irene in the afternoon and she asked me join her at her place. So I went there at about 2.30pm. Tong Li, Somewhere in Singapore and Xueli were there also.

When I reached there, they already finished preparing the ingredients for the Yam Puff (will be taught by Violet on 02/05/08) and Prawn Rolls. So, I helped with the wrapping of ingredients into the yam puffs. Upon finishing, Auntie Irene prepared the oil in medium temperature till about 150 degrees C. It should be done 4 at a time.

Then we continue to make the prawn roll... After steaming for 10 minutes and cooled down, cut into pieces, roll in egg white followed by biscuit crumbs and deep fried till golden brown.

Since there was "Mi Tai Mu" brought by Sharon, so we made Soon Kueh with the left over yam puff fillings. After we run out of the filling, we replaced it with tuna spread.

After distributing the food, we left Auntie Irene's place at about 8.45pm. It was a very nice experience.

THANK YOU AUNTIE IRENE!!! :)
