I was not able to call in to Love 972 for the tickets so I submitted an entry for the event on 6th December and then 10th December, I recieved an email from Channel 8 that I won myself 2 tickets to the Kinship II Christmas Bash at HDB Hub Convention Centre Auditorium (Basement 1) from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. I was so happy. :)
Today, I meet up with Lincoln at 1.30pm and arrived at the HUB Hub at about 1.45pm. After collecting the "tickets" which is a Channel 8 sticker and a packet of party stuffs, I stayed at the counter to talk to Andy and also kaypoh there. At about 2.20pm, he helped me to get 2 nice seats (E15 & E16), 5th row and directly in the centre. So I got the best view throughout the event. Thank you very much Andy. :)
When Violet(MC) go on stage, I got a direct view as my location was slightly higher than than the stage. After some introduction, there was this quiz time about Kinship I & II. I managed to get selected to answer 1 question and won myself some Cheese Bakkwa, Calendar, a $20 voucher, some Yoghurt, Yoghurt drinks, notebook and mousepad.
After which, the entrance of the casts. Only 9 of them present. After interviewing the casts, there was this first half of the lucky draw with the casts giving out a christmas gift each. The second number drawed was L5 and Violet pointed at me as my nick is L-5. So coincidence. Hahahaha :p
After 4 female casts drawed the numbers, we proceed to watch the special edited version of Kinship II (59 minutes). Must watch when telecast on TV.
After the show, we continued with the draw from 5 male casts, followed by a special draw; Prize = a wedding poster of Elvin Ng and Jesseca Liu (of course in Kinship II).
Then Elvin's Fan Club went on stage to sing him a birthday song as his birthday falls on 23rd December. With that, the MC concluded the event. :)
After the casts left, Violet was having a photo session with her radio fans. Of course I joined in too.
REMEMBER TO WATCH KINSHIP II STARTING FROM 17TH DECEMBER 2007 EVERY MONDAY TO FRIDAY AT 7.00 PM CHANNEL 8.
