Went to the CC for Blood Donation after finishing helping Violet粉櫻 taking photos at Blk 445 Pasir Ris Drive 6 at about 10.45am. After filling the questionare/form, went to the registration counter. After that go for a short medical check up : Temperature, Blood Pressure, Weight, and also go through the questionare. After the check up, went for blood test - test for iron level. Passing this station, next will be the actual drawing of blood. kekekeke....
First the qualified staff will inject a small amount of painkiller under the skin of the choosen spot. The injection only felt like an ant bite. After waiting a short while, the main needle will be poke into the vein. No pain at all. While the blood flows into the bag, the staff collected some blood sample into few small container for tests. It took me about 5 minutes to complete the bag. Then rest for a while, the staff bandage up my arm and then go for a simple refreshment.
I left the CC for Elias Mall at about 11.20am.
Donating blood will help you to create new blood and at the same time, save others.
This is also a good experience.
My next donation earliest date is 13 October 2007.
